One2One Quality Evaluation Report
One2One has received the final QE report carried out by an independent evaluator for the Department of Communities, and we are very proud of the outcome.
“One2One presented as an organisation that is managed and provided to a very high standard, based on evidence from all sources. Long-established quality themes including person centeredness, social inclusion, and high expectations are exemplified by this organisation. It is therefore particularly well placed as it moves into the NDIS environment, as these themes (among others, such as choice and control) are already fully embedded in its culture and practices.”
As well as the extremely positive findings of the independent evaluator, the report captures many positive comments from consumers and families we support and we are extremely grateful for their responses. Individual contributions and quality service delivery are considered forefront in our efforts as a quality service provider.
NDIS in WA Update May 2018
Click here for the latest local update from the WA NDIS Engagement Team, the update includes:
WA Transfer Process Update
WA Assistive Technology Process Update
Measuring Participant Outcomes and Progress Reporting
Supported Independent Living Provider Pack
Upcoming Events with NDIA
Please note the following regarding transitioning to the NDIS:
The NDIA is currently investigating an issue in relation to the distribution of automated letters to WA NDIS participants.
The letter incorrectly states that WA NDIS participants will have to make an access request.
If individuals have WA NDIS plans, they can simply disregard the letter and do not have to make an access request.
People with WA NDIS plans will be contacted by the NDIA to arrange a meeting to discuss transferring to the NDIA. They will be asked how they would like to have the transfer meeting, who they would like to attend the meeting and where to have the meeting.
Individuals who have a WA NDIS plan and their providers can prepare for the transfer meeting by having information about the nature, duration and days when supports are provided available to share with the NDIA.
If someone is living outside of a WA NDIS area and is receiving specialist disability supports from the WA or Commonwealth governments, they have correctly received the automated letter and should pay attention to its contents.
Individuals receiving regular state services will begin transitioning into the national NDIS Scheme from July 1 via a geographic roll out approach.
