Josh’s Footy-Filled Getaway to Victoria

One2One consumer, Josh, recently enjoyed a well-deserved holiday to Victoria, accompanied by Support Worker, Rob Finney. Rob shared a few words and photos with us to show just how special the trip was for them both…

‘Josh loves sport and in particular the West Coast Eagles, which we are both members of, so we filled the trip with footy and sports related activities. We also ate some amazing food, another of Josh’s loves.

We had 5 days there arriving on Thursday and attended a Friday night game at the MCG between St Kilda and Carlton. We went and saw the Eagles train in St Kilda on Saturday and met several players and got signed posters and photos. This was Josh’s highlight of the trip.

On Sunday we went and watched the Eagles v Richmond at the MCG, a narrow loss, but great experience for Josh. On Monday we did a tour of the MCG, which Josh loved and then went to the Australian Sports Museum which he really enjoyed.

Josh had an incredible time and it was a privilege to facilitate this for him and his family.’
